Downtown Fort Lauderdale’s beloved Day of the Dead Celebration returns for another unforgettable year! Join us as the city comes alive with the vibrant traditions of Día de los Muertos, honoring loved ones through music, art, culture, food, and community. From family-friendly activities to an evening block party, experience a full day celebrating one of Mexico’s most cherished traditions.
ESPLANADE PARK | 3PM–8PM
Kick off the celebration at Esplanade Park with:
Live music and traditional cultural performances
Children’s crafts, face painting & mask-making (activities begin at 2PM)
Authentic Latin food and artisan vendors

SKELETON PROCESSIONAL | 6PM SHARP
Don’t miss Fort Lauderdale’s most anticipated tradition—a spectacular procession featuring towering skeleton puppets, elaborate costumes, live musicians, folkloric dancers, and community groups filling the streets with music, color, and remembrance.
DAY OF THE DEAD BLOCK PARTY Presented by Kamora | 4PM–11PMOutside Revolution Live & Backyard
As the sun sets, the celebration continues with an energetic block party featuring:

Specialty cocktails and craft bars at the Craft Crypt
